Even though Steven Moffat hasn't been the Doctor Who showrunner for almost a decade, he has since returned to collaborate with Russell T Davies, penning two scripts for Ncuti Gatwa's Fifteenth Doctor. So, with the creative dialogue so recently renewed, maybe it's time for an idea that Moffat ultimately abandoned during his time in charge to be embraced by Davies. It would be unlike anything Doctor Who has ever seen before, and it would be the perfect way to bring the next actor to play the iconic Time Lord on a full-time basis into the fold.
