Big-budget sci-fi movies are some of the biggest cash cows in Hollywood right now, and few franchises have provided as many consistent hits as Godzilla. Godzilla movies have been around for decades now, but when Warner Bros. launched the MonsterVerse franchise in 2014, the legendary monster became an even bigger global sensation. Three years after the release of Godzilla (starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen), Warner Bros. also launched a King Kong movie titled Kong: Skull Island (starring Brie Larson and Tom Hiddleston), and the two finally crossed over in 2021 with the premiere of Godzilla vs.

Kong. Three years later, they teamed up in the megablockbuster smash hit Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, and the new duo will face a deadly threat next year when Godzilla x Kong: Supernova hits theaters everywhere.
