Ever since John Wick was released in 2014, it feels like every action movie has tried to copy the Keanu Reeves-led film's style. Netflix's Extraction and David Leitch's Atomic Blonde are the prime examples. But, in 2021, Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul's Bob Odenkirk delivered one of the best John Wick imitators in the action comedy Nobody.
The first film was a strong critical success and earned a modest haul at the box office, so it's no wonder Universal Pictures greenlit a sequel. The follow-up might have underperformed in theaters, but its life on streaming has been anything but a failure, as it's taking HBO Max by storm once again.
