It's been a bit of a lost season for Jalen Williams -- the Oklahoma City Thunder star only played 33 games in the regular season, but he was able to return for the postseason as he and his teammates try to defend their NBA title. But in Game 2 of the win over the Phoenix Suns, Williams left with what's being reported as a left hamstring injury in the third quarter. It was a right hamstring injury that he suffered earlier this year. Will he miss time with this injury?

Head coach Mark Daigneault had this to say via ESPN: "Any assumption about time [missed] is just hypothetical at this point, so I'm not going to comment on that."Mark Daigneault: “We think he aggravated his left hamstring. We’ll take a look at it in the next couple of days, and we’ll update you guys when appropriate.” https://t.co/g154ACqgJE— Tim MacMahon (@BannedMacMahon) April 23, 2026This could be a blow to the team's championship aspirations, but if he does miss time, maybe he's able to return later in the playoffs if the Thunder continue to make a run. This article originally appeared on For The Win: Jalen Williams injury update after hamstring issue in Thunder - Suns
