Kashika Kapoor starrer upcoming pan-India film Caste has added another notable name to its ensemble cast with the inclusion of actor Naga Babu. The development is expected to further increase attention around the project, which has been steadily generating interest since its announcement. Naga Babu is a recognised name in the Telugu film industry and comes from one of its most prominent families, being the brother of actors Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan.

His addition to Caste is likely to strengthen the film’s reach, particularly in southern markets. Speaking about being part of the project and sharing screen space with Naga Babu, Kashika Kapoor said, “Being a part of Caste at this stage of my journey feels incredibly special. Sharing screen space in a film associated with stalwarts like Naga Babu sir is both an honour and a huge responsibility.

I’ve always believed in choosing stories that have something powerful to say, and Caste is one such film that truly moved me. I’m giving it my all, and I hope the audience connects with it as deeply as I did.” Naga Babu also shared his thoughts on working with the young actor. He said, “Kashika Kapoor has that rare fire you don’t see very often.

From the moment she comes on set, there’s a certain energy she carries—very powerful, very natural. She performs with full conviction, and that’s what makes her stand out. I truly believe she has all the qualities to become a big pan-India star.

Working with her in Caste has been a great experience, and audiences are going to be very impressed with what she brings to the film.” In the film, Naga Babu will be seen playing the role of Thangarajan, while Kashika Kapoor essays the character of Gayathri. The title suggests that the film may explore social themes, though detailed plot information has not yet been officially disclosed. Caste is written and directed by AK Jampanna and produced by Thota Lakshmi Koteswara Rao under the Golden Productions banner.

The film also stars Varun Sandesh, Gagan, Satyam Rajesh, Ravi and Divi in key roles, adding to its ensemble appeal. Music for the project has been composed by Anup Rubens. Considering the team, Kashika definitely seems super excited to work with these bigwigs in the South industry. Also Read: Photos: Kashika Kapoor meets Kevin Pietersen at the ICC T20 World Cup
