I really do love my Bambu P1S Combo, which is what makes this whole thing so irritating. It’s fast, reliable, and easy enough to recommend without giving somebody a ten-minute speech about calibration, maintenance, or weird little habits they’ll need to learn. For most of what I print, it still feels like one of the smartest buys in consumer 3D printing. That should be enough to keep me satisfied, yet Bambu Lab’s X2D has made my perfectly good printer feel just a little less complete.
