The Philadelphia Eagles will begin the night with the No. 23 overall pick, but it wouldn’t be surprising for Howie Roseman to make a move, even trading up to earlier in the round to get their guy — perhaps an offensive tackle that can double as Lane Johnson’s heir apparent. The team has eight total picks through the first six rounds, so there’s plenty of opportunity to make some moves.Let’s have some fun![Stay tuned to Bleeding Green Nation for the latest updates regarding Eagles moves and others made around the league.]UPDATES10:14 PM: Following the Eagles’ exciting pick for a WR, the Steelers selected Arizona State OT Max Iheanachor at No. 21, followed by the Chargers picking Miami DE Akheem Mesidor at No. 22.9:56 PM: With the No. 20 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select MAKAI LEMON, WIDE RECEIVER OUT OF USC!!!9:53 PM: THE EAGLES TRADED UP AND ARE NOW ON THE CLOCK AT NO. 20!!!!!Terms: The #Eagles receive picks No. 20 and a 7th-rounder, while the #Cowboys receive picks No. 23, 114, and 137. https://t.co/1DGFyqbffG— Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate) April 24, 20269:52 PM: The Panthers picked one of the last top OT prospects, Georiga OT Monroe Freeling at No. 19. 9:50 PM: The Vikings select Florida DT Caleb Banks at No. 18, which could lend to the rumors on Thursday that Minnesota would be making a Day 2 trade with the Eagles, and sending DE Jonathan Greenard to Philadelphia.9:45 PM: The Lions are adding another offensive tackle, picking Clemson OT Blake Miller at No. 17 overall.
Miller was predominantly a right tackle in college which could mean All-Pro Penei Sewell could flip to the left side.9:38 PM: The Eagles were never going to draft a tight end in the first round, but if they were going to use the No. 23 pick on a TE, it would’ve probably been for Oregon TE Kenyon Sadiq. Unfortunately, the Jets ended up picking Sadiq at No. 16, instead.9:35 PM: The Buccaneers select Miami DE Rueben Bain Jr. with the No. 15 overall pick.9:30 PM: A different type of offensive lineman comes off the board at No. 14, with the Ravens selecting Penn State G Vega Ioane.9:21 PM: The Rams aren’t waiting for Jimmy Garapollo to make up his mind, and are drafting Alabama QB Ty Simpson with the No. 13 overall pick.9:19 PM: The Dolphins dropped back just one spot and added two more picks from the Cowboys, and at No. 12, Miami selected Alabama OT Kadyn Proctor.
So much for all that hoping that Proctor would end up falling to the Eagles at No. 15 or 23 — he’s now the third OT off the board, and will probably affect the way Howie moves the rest of the night.9:09 PM: The Cowboys traded up for safety Caleb Downs out of Ohio State, and I am sick about it…It's No. 11 for picks 12, 177, and 180 to the #Dolphins. https://t.co/k9KC2wdskP— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 24, 20269:06 PM: ANOTHER TRADE! The Cowboys have traded up to No. 11.9:03 PM: Another OT off the board… The Giants drafted Miami OT Francis Mauigoa with the No. 10 overall pick. 8:57 PM: The run on offensive tackles could start now, with the Browns selecting Utah OT Spencer Fano with the No. 9 overall pick.
The Giants are reportedly keeping their pick at No. 10, but Howie could be making calls to move up right about now.8:5o PM: The Saints and their No. 8 pick were considered a trade target for several teams, but New Orleans ended up keeping it, and selected WR Jordyn Tyson out of Arizona State. Tyson was a player that the Giants were reportedly hoping would fall to their second pick at No. 10, but it looks like they missed out.8:47 PM: The Commanders finally get on the clock at No. 7 and draft Ohio State LB Sonny Styles — and I personally am sick of these other NFC East teams drafting Buckeyes, and Howie absolutely refusing to do so.8:40 PM: The Chiefs selected LSU CB Mansoor Delane after trading up to No. 6.
Reports suggest Kansas City thought Washington would go for Delane after missing out on Carnell Tate, so they wanted to jump the Commanders at No. 7 to get their guy.8:36 PM: A TRADE!! The first trade of the night is between the Browns and Chiefs, with Kansas City moving up to No. 6 and Cleveland trading back to No. 9. There have already been some surprises in the handful of early picks, so Brett Veach must have his eye on someone still available.Full trade: No. 6 for 9, 74, 148 https://t.co/4cMI0laWuq— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 24, 20268:34 PM: The Giants are unfortunately adding an absolute beast to their defense, drafting Ohio State EDGE/LB Arvell
