While the thought was the team might look towards either a receiver or a linebacker, instead they added to the secondary.With the 171st pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots select CB Karon Prunty. He did have a pre-draft visit with the team.
A 6-foot-2, 190 pound defense back, Prunty ran a 4.45-second 40-yard dash and finished last season with an interception and eight pass breakups.
