The Werder Bremen defender tore his cruciate ligament last July and since then, has been working hard for a return to the pitch. Despite the 32-year-old nearing closer to a comeback, there are just four fixtures remaining in the current Bundesliga campaign.However, Weiser's contract expires in two months, so his last match for Werder could be the 4-1 victory on Matchday 34 of last season.It's worth noting Weiser has had a ready-to-sign offer on the table for some time, but apparently hasn't made a decision yet.Regardless, further talks about an extension are expected soon although the outcome seems completely open on the player's end.
