Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft continues as the New Orleans Saints make their second selection in the span of five picks. At pick No. 132, they continued to add to the offensive side of the ball, bringing in Auburn guard Jeremiah Wright as a potential starting option at right guard. Then, at pick No. 136, they added another offensive piece, picking up North Dakota State wide receiver Bryce Lance.
Pick No. 136 was a compensatory selection for the Saints, and they utilized it well, building for the future with the pickup of Lance. Lance was the first NDSU wide receiver with back to back 1,000 yard seasons, posting 2,139 yards in three seasons, along with 25 touchdowns. In his first year, he did not get many reps, but in the next two, he rapidly found his footing, and now, he heads to New Orleans, looking to break into an extremely deep wide receiver room after the selection of Jordyn Tyson in round one as well.
