Star Wars is retreading overly familiar ground with its latest Sith-centric story. The Sith have always been one ofStar Wars' most interesting factions. Their appeal comes from the mysteries of the dark side, their unique relationship with the Force, and their unrelenting greed and pursuit of power. While iconic Star Wars characters like Darth Sidious, Darth Vader, Darth Tyranus, and Sith-adjacent characters like Kylo Ren all embody these dark side "ideals," perhaps no Sith-coded character in the Star Wars galaxy is more compelling than Maul.
