(Photo Credit: AMC) AMC has finally released the official trailer for The Vampire Lestat, the upcoming third installment of the Interview with the Vampire. The hit supernatural drama will have its highly anticipated return on Sunday, June 7, on AMC and AMC+. “In the upcoming rock and roll-centric season, the Vampire Lestat goes on an electric multi-city tour while being haunted by ‘muses’ from his wild and rebellious past.

As his band’s popularity and star power rise, so does Lestat’s influence over vampires and humans alike, leaving others to contend with Lestat’s power in the face of the Great Conversion, an unnatural surge in the vampire population,” reads the official synopsis. Now titled The Vampire Lestat, Interview with the Vampire Season 3 will now shift the story towards the immortal life of Sam Reid’s fan-favorite character, Lestat de Lioncourt.

The next season is expected to cover Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat and The Queen of the Damned novels. Joining Reid in the new season are Jacob Anderson as Louis de Pointe du Lac, Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy, and Assad Zaman as Armand. Season 3 will also feature original Music and lyrics by series composer Daniel Hart.

Interview With the Vampire is written and executive produced by Emmy nominee Rolin Jones, who also serves as the showrunner. Additional cast for Season 3 includes Delainey Hayles, Jennifer Ehle, Damien Atkins, Ella Ballentine, Jeanine Serralles, Christopher Heyerdahl, Sheila Atim, Noah Reid, Ryan Kattner, Seamus Patterson, and Sarah Swire. It is executive-produced by Mark Johnson, Hannah Moscovitch, and Christopher Rice.
