The 2026 NFL Draft is in full swing, and Jordyn Tyson is the newest member of the New Orleans Saints. The former Arizona State wide receiver was selected by the black and gold with the eighth overall pick in the first round of this year's draft, and now we're getting to the really important questions. Not his fit in Kellen Moore's offense with Tyler Shough throwing him the football.

Not the steps he's taking to stay healthy after his college career was marred by injuries. The really important question on everyone's mind? That would be asking which jersey number he'll be wearing. If he wants it, Tyson can stay in the No. 0 jersey he wore the last two years at ASU.

It was previously used by backup safety Ugo Amadi, and no disrespect to him, but you'd like to see such a unique jersey number in the hands of someone who's flashing in a lot of highlight reels. But it may not be the slam dunk many fans anticipate.No. 0 wasn't Tyson's first choice in high school or college, either. He transferred between a couple of different high schools in the Dallas area -- wearing No. 1 at John Paul II High School in Plano, then using the No. 4 jersey at both Independence High School in Frisco and at Allen High School for his senior year.

Tyson continued to wear No. 4 after committing to the Colorado Buffaloes. That changed when he transferred to Arizona State. The No. 4 jersey belonged to star running back Cam Skattebo, so Tyson switched to the No. 0, and he's stuck with it ever since.Like we said: if Tyson wants it, No. 0 is his.

It's currently up for grabs after the Saints let Amadi's contract expire. But if he wants to use No. 4 instead, like he did before in high school and the first part of his college career, it wouldn't be difficult to get it. That jersey currently belongs to backup quarterback Zach Wilson.

Wilson signed just weeks ago so it would be an easy switch if that's the number Tyson wants. We'll just wait and see what he decides to do, but it would be really sweet to see the No. 0 in the hands of a playmaker. This article originally appeared on Saints Wire: 2026 NFL Draft: What jersey number will Jordyn Tyson wear with Saints?
