Consider the 2026 NFL Draft as the first real national showcase for the Tennessee Titans' new logo, color scheme and uniforms. The Titans unveiled a new logo and uniforms in March, replacing the branding they have been using for almost three decades since moving to Tennessee. The logo, which had been in place since 1999, went from the old fireball look with a sword and three stars in the middle to a sleeker, more modern offering that abandoned the flaws and sawed off some of the edges of the sword. The lighter shade of blue that was a secondary color for most of the Titans' existence has been emphasized as a primary color now, along with white, red and navy blue.

The navy blue, which was the Titans' primary color, has been relegated to background status, appearing only in small patches and under the arms on the new uniforms. It's hard to differentiate the new Titans jerseys from the classic Houston Oilers uniforms the franchise wore prior to moving to Tennessee. The color schemes are almost identical, and the simplicity of the block numbering and solid color uniforms and helmets are deeply reminiscent of the Houston branding, albeit without the oil derrick. In place of that Texan iconography is a six-string stripe on the shoulder, helmet and pants, symbolizing Nashville's music history. The Titans unveiled their new branding in front of roughly 2,500 season ticket holders at a private event at The Pinnacle in downtown Nashville, which ran concurrent to a series of social media posts that showcased the new brand worn by prominent Titans such as quarterback Cam Ward, defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons and wide receiver Chimere Dike. These are the first new uniforms the Titans have worn since 2018, when the franchise rebranded with new jerseys but didn't change the logo.

This is a major period of change for the team in all phases. Ward and general manager Mike Borgonzi are heading into Year 2. Coach Robert Saleh is heading into his first year with the Titans.

And the team will open the new Nissan Stadium, the domed home, ahead of the 2027 season. For more, read about the logo rebrand, uniform rebrand and the process that led the Titans to their new look:Tennessee Titans new logo, new Titans uniform, rebrand historySee Titans new uniform, new logo, new jerseysWhy the Titans changed their uniforms, logoSee Titans uniforms and history through the yearsUnderstand the Oilers connection and Titans nostalgiaShopping for Titans gear around Nashville following the rebrandOpinions about the Titans' rebrand from readersNick Suss is the Titans beat writer for The Tennessean.
