After the Giants concluded the 2026 NFL Draft on Saturday, coach John Harbaugh — who has final say on personnel — weighed in on once-great wide receiver Odell Beckham. Will the Giants sign him, in what would be a fascinating reunion? Well, before the draft, Harbaugh — who really likes Beckham — brought him to the Giants’ training facility for a physical and a workout.

Here’s what Harbaugh said Saturday after the Giants made their final pick: “We worked him out. He looked good. We just have to continue conversations.

If we do anything, it has to make sense for the Giants. It has to make sense for him. We’re not decided on that yet. He’s not decided on that yet.

Have to see where it is.”Harbaugh said he plans to speak with Beckham on Tuesday night. So there you have it.Beckham is no longer a difference maker, but his return to East Rutherford would bring plenty of headlines, at least. Harbaugh previously said he would be open to a reunion with Beckham, even though the 33-year-old receiver is a shell of his former self.Still, Beckham has made it clear he wants to finish his career with the Giants, after opening it as a star in East Rutherford. And if Harbaugh can get Beckham on an affordable contract, perhaps a reunion makes sense, with Beckham providing some depth. It’s worth noting that Harbaugh remains friendly with Beckham from their brief time together in Baltimore.Beckham hasn’t had a highly productive season since 2019 with the Browns (1,035 yards and four touchdowns). With Harbaugh in Baltimore in 2023, Beckham had 35 catches for 565 yards and three touchdowns.

Beckham was out of the league last year, partly because of a six-game suspension (performance-enhancing drugs).Of course, he opened his career as a star with the Giants from 2014-18, as the No. 12 overall draft pick. His Giants numbers remain impressive — 390 catches, 5,476 yards and 44 touchdowns.MORE GIANTS COVERAGEGiants 53-man roster projection after 2026 NFL Draft: Who sticks around?Rutgers football UDFA tracker 2026: Here’s where former Scarlet Knights signed after NFL DraftWinners and losers from John Harbaugh’s first Giants draft, including Jaxson Dart Jack Kelly scouting report: Giants finish draft by getting LB who brings ‘desired aggression’ Read the original article on NJ.com.
