The winger's second try and Kieran Buchanan's score within two second-half minutes settled the game before Galeano completed his hat-trick.Thomas Lacans had put Toulouse on the board in the first half but further tries from Henry O'Kane and Mathieu Jussaume came too late to change the outcome.York caused a stir at the start of the season with victories over both champions Hull KR and Hull FC in the first three rounds but had since found life tougher in the top flight. But victory pulls them two points above Toulouse, who stay bottom of the table after nine rounds.Vaughan scored their first try after nine minutes as hooker Paul McShane, on his 400th career appearance, popped up a short pass for Vaughan to go under the posts before he collected McShane's grubber for a second try.Cody Hunter fired a wide pass to send Galeano in for his first try and it was Hunter's clever kick in behind the Toulouse defence that created Galeano's second, after the break.A fifth try soon followed as Toulouse failed to deal with Ata Hingano's high kick and McShane collected the loose ball to put Buchanan over.Five minutes from time, Hunter's break set up Galeano to go over in the corner for his hat-trick score.York head coach Mark Applegarth told BBC Radio York:"I'm really proud of how the lads stuck to the game plan tonight.
We've learned some valuable lessons over this period and been speaking about putting those improvements in, and I thought we did that tonight."We've stuck together. When you face adversity, you learn a lot about people, and I'm really sure of how tight this group are."We won't get carried away, but we'll enjoy tonight and then make sure we can put in another disciplined display next week at St Helens."York: Nofoaluma, Bennison, Buchanan, Wood, Galeano, Hingano, Wood, Hunter, Martin, McShane, Vaughan, Field, Dee, LittlewoodInterchanges: Balmforth, Griffin, Va'a, CookToulouse: Ashall-Bott, Laguerre, Polselli, Rennie, Ulberg, Rouge, Lacans, Belmar, Hands, Butler, Jussaume, O'Kane, MarionInterchanges: Gillam, Chan, Roumanos, WallaceReferee: James Vella.
