Many anime deserve to be in the conversation of the best anime in history, but one show that’s sadly ignored is the original Yu-Gi-Oh! anime. While the card game has caused many people to see Yu-Gi-Oh! as a franchise first and an anime and manga second, and the damage done by 4Kids Entertainment didn’t help either, the original story is still incredibly solid from start to finish, and it deserves to be regarded as one of the best.
